Community NETwork's Fifth Annual National Conference
(Chicago, IL)- The National Board of Community NETwork, African
American Telecommunication Professionals of SBC, together with
the SBC Midwest Chapters, will host the SBC Community NETwork's
Fifth Annual National Conference at the Westin Michigan Avenue
Hotel in beautiful downtown Chicago, IL. July 24 - 27, 2003.
This year's theme, THE FACE OF TOMMOROW'S LEADERSHIP, will focus
conference attendees on developing leaders, recognizing all levels
of accomplishments and applying hard work and commitment to the
development of both professional and personal goals. The end result
will create a positive impact on the lives of attendees as well
as our communities.
This years conference will feature as guest speakers distinguished
SBC Executives, President SBC William Daley, Senior Vice President-Regulatory
Compliance Priscilla Hill-Ardoin, and President Global Enterprises
and GEM Mike Hamilton. Also featured renowned author and business
motivator Ms. Patricia Russell-McCloud.
The conference will kick off on Friday, July 25th, with a golf
tournament at the Fresh Meadows Golf Club in Hillside, Illinois.
Shuttle buses will provide transportation to and from the golf
course. On-site registration begins at 7:30 a.m. followed by an
8:00 a.m. "Shot Gun Start".
The conference goers will have the chance to experience Chicago
in numerous ways. The Vendors Market which provides attendees
the opportunity to explore various and unique products and services,
opens on Friday afternoon at 2 p.m. . Attendees can take a fascinating
historical Black Chicago tour and visit some of the neighborhoods
that make the City of Chicago famous. They can also board the
elegant Odyssey Cruise Ship and enjoy a midnight lakefront cruise
on beautiful Lake Michigan. Regardless of the industry or profession,
this year's conference is sure to bring professionals from around
the country together to explore Chicago and work on improving
development and growth opportunities in the telecommunications
industry, for the leaders of tomorrow.
