Happy New Year! We are honored to serve as Community NETwork’s National
President and Executive Vice President for 2005. We would like
to thank the 2003-2004 National Officers for their commitment
to excellence and hard work. We would also like to take this opportunity
to recognize and thank outgoing National President Michael Brundy
for his leadership, guidance, and mentorship and outgoing Executive
Vice President Joseph Sneed for his years of service to our organization.
As your leaders for the 2005 –
2006 year, we want to remind you that what appears to be the end is really a new
beginning. We appreciate your continued support of this organization as we seize every opportunity to
provide our membership with the appropriate tools to meet the upcoming
changes in technology and the telecommunications market.
Our mission for 2005 is "Commitment
to the Individual, Organization, and Corporation." In support
of this mission, we plan to maintain focus on two key areas:
- Growing and Retaining
the National Chapter Membership Base:
Our Membership is key to our continued support and growth.
It is our hope that we can implement programs that will encourage
growth locally and nationally.
- Enhancing the Professional
Capabilities of our Membership:
We are only as strong as our members. One of our objectives is to develop a 2005
National Professional Development and Mentorship Program to
foster top level employees for SBC.
We encourage you to partner with
us as we build the infrastructure required to fulfill our mission. This
organization’s success is shared by “all of you” who have stood to make it
respected and viable to SBC. We welcome
your suggestions and ideas on making this organization the best it can be. Our combined efforts
will be the catalyst for a flourishing and successful 2005.
You will receive quarterly updates
throughout the year regarding our
progress against our focus items. We
look forward to seeing you throughout the year at chapter events and the 7th
Annual National Conference in Connecticut.
May the New Year bring abundant
blessings your way!
